The letters always seem to turn out rather small so I’ll just include them here:
Dear Baby,
Only 10 weeks (give or take a few) to go until we see your precious little face! Already, you seem to be a mess of arms a and legs inside there and I get the feeling y you’re feeling a little cramped for space. I w I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re an early or on time baby like your brother was — t there’s just not much room for Deutscher babies inside this belly! You have such a calm about you. You sleep right through the midwives prodding and measuring you. You shy away from most hands but you respond to your daddy and brother…although in your brother’s case, I think its mostly self defence!

Dear Xavier,
I cannot believe in two short months, you will be two years old! You now string together sentences and can name some colours, letters and numbers. You ask to read “Spot’s Baby Sister” and “There’s a House Inside My Mummy” every night without fail before bed. Bedtime is the only time you want to talk about the new baby (procrastinating much?) so we just go with the flow. For the record, you’re very good at directing things so I think this baby will never have the chance to be bored.

Taking the same shot at the same time was totally coincidental but I’m going to have to try and remember to do the same with every subsequent pregnancy after this!
